Juventus vs AC Milan – (Coppa Italia) Match Preview, Prediction, Kick-off Time & More.

On Friday (12th of June, 2020), AC Milan will visit Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, Turin for the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final clash. The game comes 100 days behind its original schedule date due to the word-wide outbreak of COVID-19 (Corona Virus).

The reverse fixture which took place at San Siro ended in a draw (1-1). Milan was poised to defeat Juventus, but Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stoppage-time penalty to find a draw for Juventus. It was a highly controversial game which saw the dismissal of AC Milan’s defender Theo Hernández. His dismissal will see that he is unavailable for AC Milan when they return for this second on Friday. Zlatan Ibrahimović and Samuel Castillejo are also suspended for the fixture. All three, being key players will cause a lot of selection trouble for boss, Stefano Pioli and AC Milan.

However, Juve have none of their key players suspended for this return leg. Ronaldo was seen in training and in great shape over the weekend. As reported in the news, Dybala has fully recovered from Corona Virus. It’s likely we will see a 4-3-1-2 formation from Sarri with the duo of Ronaldo and Dybala leading the attack. Ramsey will likely be playing behind the two. Both strikers (Ronaldo and Dybala) have scored twice each for Juventus in this competition.

The reverse fixture saw Juventus take a 58% ball possession while AC Milan had 42%. There were 24 shots taken in that game; 16 for AC Milan while Juventus had 8. Only 11 shots were on target for Milan while 4 were on target for Juve. Milan completed 320 passes while Juve completed 544 passes. Milan had the higher number of recoveries; 81 while Juve had only 23. Ante Rebic was the goal scorer for Milan (61’) before Cristiano Ronaldo converted the penalty.

An estimated number of 73,000 spectators were present for the first leg at San Siro. But due to the current health concerns this match will be played without spectators. The authorities have set 300 as the maximum number of people to be allowed in the stadium. This includes, staff, players and match officials.

A 3-1 victory for Juventus is predicted at full-time.
