Barcelona vs Real Sociedad
After the 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Sunday, Barcelona will return to football action tomorrow for their 27th La Liga appearance of the season. That bitter loss to arch rivals, Madrid was their second loss in their last six La Liga games; LWWWL. Now, Quique Setien will like to put the mistakes of the El Clasico behind him and focus on taking 3 points off 6th placed Real Sociedad. Their last match result placed them 2nd on the league table – just behind Real Madrid by 1 point. Setien knows fully well that a win tomorrow will temporarily place them at the top of the table while they wait for Real Madrid to fumble against Real Betis on Sunday. According to WhoScored.com, Barcelona will play a 4-3-1-2 formation with Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann leading the attack while Arturo Vidal will play behind the duo. Sergio Busquets, De Jong and Arthur will be in the midfield just ahead of Barcelona’s defense with Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal.
