Norwich vs Tottenham [Judge]

Spurs are next in action for another premiere league appearance just 48 hours after their last match. The next opponent will be Norwich, away at Carrow Road. After a 37th minute goal by Adam Webster, Jose Mourinho’s side had to dig deep to find an equalizer 16 minutes later. Later on, Dele Alli put the game to bed for Spurs with a fantastic goal 72 minutes after kick-off.

So far, Jose Mourinho will be pleased with his side’s progress. Another win this Saturday will place Tottenham on equal points as Chelsea who are 4th on the league table. In 19 premiere league appearances, Spurs has 8 Wins, 5 draws and 6 losses. Their recent form has been WLWWL. In total, Spurs have scored 34 goals this season and have conceded 27 (same as Chelsea) – the most goals conceded for a club in top 9 position. 11.8 shots per game with an average ball possession of 52.7% shows us they are playing decent football.

Meanwhile, Norwich currently sits at the bottom of the league table with only 12 points. They haven’t won any of their last five matches and relegation is a close reality. The last time they won an EPL match was in November, on the 23rd against Everton. Thanks to goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny. Their form has been DLLDLL. Norwich has been able to score only 19 goals in 19 premiere league appearances with 9 of them coming from Teemu Pukki.

The last time both sides met ended 3-0 in favor of Tottenham with Dele Alli (2’) and Harry Kane (30’ P, 90’) getting on the scores sheet. Tottenham dominated that game with a 55% ball possession and 17 shots at goal. They also completed more passes; 426 than their counterparts who had only 355.

Norwich City will be without injured trio, Timm Klose, Josip Drmic and Ben Godfrey. Daniel Farke is expected to rotate his squad given the sharp turnaround between matches. This might allow us see Marco Stiepermann, Onel Hernandez, and Jamal Lewis starting.

Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies are long-term absentees through injury. Son Heung-min will be serving the second of his three-match ban after picking up a red card against Chelsea. Yellow cards for Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks against Brighton will see the duo out for this game.

English referee, Kevin Friend will blow for kick-off at exactly 5:30 UK Time.
