Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

After a shocking loss to Bournemouth last weekend, Chelsea will be visiting the White Hart Lane on match-day 15. Frank Lampard will be looking to bounce back from defeat and take a point or more away from Jose Mourinho’s side. Sitting 4th on the table with 29 points, The Blues need a win against Tottenham to remain top four and keep Sheffield United at bay.

Lampard will probably file out with a 4-1-2-3 that transcends into a 4-3-3 as the game progresses. Jorghino will be shielding Chelsea’s defense while providing support for Mason Mount and Ngolo Kante who will be roaming free upfront. In attack, its likely we see the trio of Pulisic, Tammy Abraham (CF) and Willian on the right. The Brazilian will be looking to find Tammy Abraham in the box with one of his dangerous crosses. Lampard will probably keep the defense as against Bournemouth even though they were unable to keep a clean sheet.

The last time both sides met Chelsea stole the show with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Pedro and an own-goal from Kieran Trippier.

Fikayo Tomori will be available for Chelsea after his absence from the last two games because of a hip injury. Olivier Giroud will likely be on the bench despite a recent ankle injury while Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains sidelined.

Meanwhile Mou’s side will be looking to take all three points in their quest to continue climbing the table. Mourinho has imposed his winning mentality on Spurs and a win will help them topple Wolves for 6th position on the league table.

Record-signing Tanguy Ndombele will return for Tottenham after missing the last three games with a groin injury. Hugo Lloris remains out with an Elbow Injury while Erik Lamela nurses a Hamstring injury.

It appears the match may end up in a 1-1 or 2-2 draw considering both sides really need a point to remain in a healthy league position.
